The installation folder, the settings and log files of Studio and Live, project files, the .veri folder, backups, folders under the user account, and what needs to be backed up.

This topic is the complete list of the places on the computer where FabyaVision writes and reads. The paths refer to the default installation; if you chose a custom installation folder, read it in place of C:\Program Files\Fabyatek\FabyaVision. The details of each program are described in the relevant topic.

Installation folder

The default location is C:\Program Files\Fabyatek\FabyaVision. It contains two sibling folders (Installation):

The program files (.exe, wwwroot) are writable only by the administrator; do not modify them.
The installation opens the five locations that the programs write to with write permission for users: Studio\logs, Live\logs, Live\Projeler, studio_ayarlar.json and live_ayarlar.json. If these locations cannot be written to, the settings are not persisted and no log is kept.
An update does not touch the settings files or the Live\Projeler folder.

Studio

Unless stated otherwise, paths are relative to the Studio\ folder.

`studio_ayarlar.json`	Theme, language, interface scale, author, default project folder, automatic backup interval, 3D view and placement model, last opened project, list of recent projects (up to 10), last upload folder. If the file is missing or corrupt, it opens with the defaults. Settings

`%LOCALAPPDATA%\FabyaVision_Studio\WebView2\`	User data of the WebView2 component that renders the interface. Panel widths, column orders and Toolbox group states are stored here. It is not edited by hand; if it is deleted, this layout information is reset.
`Belgeler\FabyaVision Projeleri\`	The location suggested by the New Project window; used when Studio settings in Project folder is empty. The Open and Save as windows, on the other hand, start in the folder of the most recently opened project.

Project files

A project is a single file: <Ad>.fvs (formerly .fyscada; both can be opened, and Studio saves as .fvs). The file is JSON written as UTF-8 text. Saving creates side files (Project files, Revision and backup):

Live

Unless stated otherwise, paths are relative to the Live\ folder.

File or folder	Content
`live_ayarlar.json`	The last opened project, the project folder, automatic start, the screenshot folder. If the file is missing or corrupt, it runs with safe defaults.
`logs\Live_yyyyMMdd.log`	The Live program log; files older than 30 days are deleted at startup.
`Projeler\`	The default folder scanned by the project selection screen. If it cannot be written to, `%LOCALAPPDATA%\FabyaVision\Projeler` is used. If Sample project was selected during setup, `Projeler\Tanitim_Tesisi\Tanitim_Tesisi.fvs` is also located here.
`%LOCALAPPDATA%\FabyaVision_Live\WebView2\`	The WebView2 user data of Live. It is not edited by hand.
`Belgeler\FabyaVision_Live\Ekran Görüntüleri\`	The PNG files of the Save screenshot action key (the folder set in `EkranGoruntuKlasoru` in `live_ayarlar.json`, if it is filled in).

Data belonging to the project: <Ad>.veri

Live writes the <Ad>.veri folder next to the project file; uploading from Studio does not touch it. It has two subfolders:

depo\: persistent tag values, recipe records, task status, the preferences of this computer (istasyon.json) and connection passwords (baglanti_sifreleri.json).
gunluk\: monthly event, alarm, archive, report and recipe transfer records (olay_yyyyMM.log, alarm_yyyyMM.log …).

Locations under the user account

These are located under %LOCALAPPDATA%\FabyaVision\ and depend on the Windows user. If you open the program with a different Windows account, that account creates its own copy.

Location	Content
`uzak.anahtar`	The key that signs the remote monitoring session cookies. It is encrypted in a way tied to the Windows account; if it is deleted, the sessions in the browser become invalid and a new login is requested.
`OpcUa\pki\own\`	The OPC UA certificate of this computer (`certs\.der`) and its private key (`private\.pfx`).
`OpcUa\pki\trusted\`, `issuer\`, `rejected\`	Manually trusted server and certificate authority certificates; intermediate certificate authorities; rejected server certificates (for review).
`OpcUa\sunucular\`	The certificate of each OPC UA server, saved at the first connection (`adres_port.der`).
`Projeler\`	Live's fallback project folder when the program folder cannot be written to.

Locations you choose

The programs write the following files to the location you choose; they have no separate default folder: report PDF, CSV and Excel exports, tag Excel and CSV transfers, script files. A save-file dialog opens each time to choose the location.

Items to back up

What	Cause
Project files (`.fvs`) and `Yedek` folders	The design itself. On the Studio computer and in `Live\Projeler`.
`<Ad>.veri` folders	Live data: persistent values, recipe records, alarm, event, archive and report history. No automatic backup contains them.
`live_ayarlar.json`	Which project and folder are being used.
`studio_ayarlar.json`	Optional: theme, author and recent projects.

What happens on uninstall

Two logs folders and two settings files are deleted.
If Live\Projeler is not empty, it is not deleted, and its path is reported in a message when the uninstallation is finished. If the sample project was installed, its copy Tanitim_Tesisi.fvs is also regarded as user data and remains; this is why you see the message.
Folders under %LOCALAPPDATA% and the projects and screenshots under Belgeler are not touched.
